Appointment Information
We have locations in Baltimore, Clarksville, and Westminster. We realize it is often difficult to take off work and to pull the kids out of school, which is why besides our early morning and, regular daytime appointments, we are also open a few evenings each week, and a few Saturdays and Sundays each month. We recommend that you call 2 months ahead to make a routine appointment. We are accepting new patients. Emergency eye injury or urgent cases will be seen as soon as possible.

Pediatric Eye Care of Maryland
If you are a new patient, we will send you a new patient information package. Please read the information carefully. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form and forward it to us prior to your visit. If for some reason we do not have your completed form, you will be asked to complete the form prior to you or your child being seen by one of our doctors. You will also be asked to read and sign a required privacy form.
You will be asked to present a valid insurance card for you or the patient. Most insurance companies require a referral form from another physician; please be sure that you bring it with you to the appointment.
While we will do our best to shorten your stay, you should plan to be in our office for 2 hours during the initial visit and annual complete eye examinations. These appointments generally require the eyes to be dilated and additional time is needed for the drops to work effectively.
We understand that situations arise that will not allow patients to keep their scheduled appointment. In order to make our office flow smoothly for all our patients, we ask that you call our office 72 hours in advance to cancel and reschedule your appointment. If you do not call us and you miss your appointment, you may be charged a “No Show” fee. Likewise, if you know you will be late for your appointment, please call us to let us know.
Co-pays are due at the time of the visit and are expected to be paid prior to being seen by the doctor. Pediatric Eye Care of Maryland accepts cash, personal checks (subject to a NSF fee), Visa and MasterCard credit cards, and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.
Please note, if anyone other than the parent or legal guardian is accompanying the child, they must bring written permission from a parent or legal guardian in order for the patient to receive treatment.
